Senior Marketing Specialist, Sofia (maternity leave cover)

The position is located at Company’s Head Office in Sofia, Bulgaria and reports to the Global Marketing Manager.

Main responsibilities:

  • Drive organization of lead generation activities and campaigns across all regions Software Group work in:

  • Communicate with event organizers of conferences and exhibitions in all locations

  • Drive Software Group and partner organized events together with local offices

  • Take care of all events logistics

  • Drive digital lead generation activities

  • Responsible for collecting, reporting and analysis of results from activities

  • Upload and track leads from activities in an online CRM system

  • Responsible for the company’s branding and owner of the visual identity of the company

  • Track and execute activities according to the global marketing plan across locations

  • Assist the Global Marketing Manager in managing the marketing budget, planning and regular activities synchs with local offices

  • Participate in the preparation of different marketing materials including presentations, brochures, videos, case studies etc.

  • Responsible for production of materials at HQ and distribution to local offices when needed

  • Manage and work with external agencies

  • Responsible for campus branding and offices design   

  • Participate in production of partner related materials

  • Responsible for website updates and tracking website analytics

  • Cross department collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the sales and partners teams for lead generation activities

  • Collaborate with the HR team for HR events and employer branding

  • Collaborate with the designers team for creating visuals and different materials

  • Collaborate with finance team for invoicing and payments


  • University degree in Marketing or Business

  • At least 3 years of marketing experience, preferably in event management

  • Experience in digital marketing or interest in design is considered a plus

  • Knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools

  • Understanding of the banking and financial industry is considered a plus

  • Great communication and presentation skills

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Good team and cross-team player

  • Strong influencing and consensus-building skills

  • Critical and creative thinking, attention to detail

The position is a maternity leave cover and is associated with a maximum of 2 years contract.
