T24 Business Analyst, Chennai

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Understand the business needs and translate them into requirements

  • Meet external and internal stakeholders to determine business and/or technical requirements

  • Manage communication, related particular to scope matters including client, internal stakeholders and contractors involved, based on priorities and timelines from the Project Manager

  • Clarify and document client's needs, understand their work practices and the nature of their business

  • Document the requirements in the company quality standards

  • Define exit criteria

  • Report regularly to the PM progress of the respective phase/project related to the scope

  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: (Functional requirements, Non Functional requirements, Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface designs, Requirements traceability matrix)

  • Define risks, prerequisites, assumptions and constraints related to the scope

  • Critically evaluate information, gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs

  • Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs

  • Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams, QA teams and support teams;

  • Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle


  • At least three years of experience in T24 Business analysis in software or financial services provider

  • Very good knowledge of Temenos T24 and the microfinance domain

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field of study

  • Financial and/or Banking Software business knowledge (Core Banking Systems, Payment Services, Microfinance, etc.) gained through a functional or technical role is required

  • Understanding of the software development life cycle and experience working directly with development or technical staff

  • Outstanding communication, organizational, documentation and analytical skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently with high levels attention of detail and drive needed to improve processes on your own
