T24 Support Engineer, Chennai

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Support Production, related to T24 and all process related to it

  • Understand Production issues and analyze, resolve within stipulated time frame and act as required

  • Understand the business needs and requirements, as well as functional specifications, and translate them into Technical Specification Documents, followed by developing solutions that meet those specifications

  • Ensure proper working of live system without interrupting any services to customers

  • Support and monitor users’ activity under Temenos T24

  • Perform day to day operations and processes to support smooth business operation under CBS

  • Complete tasks, related to Closing of Business (COB including Pre-COB, Post-COB and backup/restoration procedures) and report accordingly

  • Participate in implementation of IT projects

  • Learn, understand and implement/execute new solutions

  • Meet targets, set by the supervisor and work unceasingly to enable Software Group BG to meet its goal


  • Minimum three years of relevant work experience

  • Good knowledge of Temenos T24 Core Banking System

  • Working experience with T24 Live Support and Development

  • T24 Development experience including Menu, Version, Enquiries & Batch set-up

  • Good understanding of overall T24 architecture and working mechanism

  • Experience in Unix/Linux/Windows Server

  • Experience with JBOSS or similar application servers

  • Knowledge of shell Script and SQL scripting

  • Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure

  • Must have a drive for professional development and actively engage in team improvements
